Montreal’s Pow Pow Press has announced that their first book of 2015 will be a Canadian edition of Lewis Tronheim’s Capharnaüm. Originally published by l’Association in France, Pow Pow has the French-language North American rights to this postmodern superhero tale from the creator of Donjon and Lapinot. According to Pow Pow, the book follows the adventures of a comic book fan who gets caught up in the real-life adventures of his favourite hero in a 288-page epic taking place in Trondheim’s version of Gotham City, Capharnaüm.
No word yet on an English translation.
Scheduled for January 27, the black-and-white graphic novel will retail for $29.95.
