The Vancouver Comic Arts Festival takes place this weekend, with the big day being Saturday.
Lynn Johnston is a featured guest and starting at 12:00 PM, Doug Savage (Savage Chickens) will have a chat with her for 45 minute discussion of Lynn’s experience in the comics industry, her inspirations, and her advice for fledgling artists and comic creators. The talk will be followed by a signing –1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
The regular show features a ton of comics artists and publishers and goes all day Saturday. Featured guests include Ian Boothby, Ed Brisson, Danielle Corset, Evan Dahm, Camilla D’Errico, Kadi Fedoruk, Brandon Graham, Pia Guerra, Ryan Heshka, Tyson Hesse, Faith Erin Hicks, Jeph Jacques, James Lloyd, Nina Matsumoto, Troy Nixey, Luke Ramsey, Steve Rolston, Simon Roy, and Kurtis Wiebe. full list
