New Book and Art Show from Guy Delisle

Cartoonist Guy Delisle is touring an exhibit of his art this Spring in support of his latest graphic novel, Hostage. The exhibit debuted in Moncton before travelling to Quebec City and then to Toronto. A partnership between French publisher Delcourt and the Institut français, the cultural arm of the French Embassy in Canada, the exhibition is on simultaneously in April at the Frye Festival at the Public Library of Moncton and at the Laval Univewrsity Library during the 30th Festival de la bande dessinée francophone de Québec. It all wraps up at the Toronto Reference Library just in time for TCAF and the English-language launch of Delisle’s latest, the story of Doctors Without Borders administrator Christophe André, kidnapped and kept in solitary confinement in Chechnya for 111 days in 1997.
