Attention all Canadian comic book creators! Two of the country’s best conventions focused entirely on comics are now taking applications for their 2019 editions! You won’t want to miss these opportunities to reach a dedicated audience of comic readers.
Toronto Comic Arts Festival main exhibition occurs on Saturday May 11th and Sunday May 12th, 2019, at Toronto Reference Library in beautiful Toronto, Canada. There are also professional development panels on Friday May 10th for creators. This is possibly the best show in the country for selling comics and graphic novels and is very well attended. Deadline to apply is October 12th so hurry and submit your best application, applicants are not first come first serve, but are curated by the show. Vancouver Comic Arts Festival is another entirely comic creator festival which has quickly grown to approach the size of the longer standing TCAF. VanCAF 2019 takes place on Saturday May 18th and Sunday May 19th, 2019, at the Roundhouse Community Arts and Recreation Centre in Vancouver. Deadline to apply is December 15th.
