Item: Haida manga artist Michael Nicoll Yahgulanaas is profiled by the National Post on the occasion of the publication of his Red graphic novel. This is one of the bug books of the Fall (and of the year, really).
Item: Cartoonist Anton Blender created the comic strip “Zacky” for the Hanover Post when he was 12 years old. The strip ran for several years in the late-1980s and early-90s. Now 32, Blender has collected the strips in a complete edition, according to the paper.
