The Joe Shuster Awards announced yesterday that they have settled on a date and venue for their 11th annual ceremony. This year’s event, honouring comics from 2014, will take place Sunday, October 18th, 2015 in London, Ontario at the Forest City ComiCon (London Convention Centre). The convention, which bills itself as “a celebration of nerd culture like no other,” features a number of Shuster-nominated artists.
The awards, which are going through something of a funding situation, announced most of their nominees back in June. You can see the nominees for the Shuster’s Gene Day Award for self-published comics here.
